How does the PaxFleet System work?
What makes it better than other systems?
What hardware will I need?
How hard is it to install?
How about software?
Will PaxFleet work with all my vehicles?
Does the System require maintenance?
Does it come with a warranty?
What’s the coverage area?
What about vehicles that go outside that area?
How often does it transmit information?
Can more than one user have access to the information?
A PaxFleet unit installed on each of your vehicles sends information about that vehicle directly to the designated person who needs that information. The System uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to pinpoint the location of your vehicles and proprietary technology to collect and send information.

All other systems collect large amounts of information about the vehicle. Some of it useful, some not. Those systems then route all that information in bulk to a central data collection center where it’s sorted and stored. The information is then delivered to the owner of the vehicle in various standard reports.
With PaxFleet, each unit has the intelligence to collect and transmit only the information you want and need. And it transmits that information in the smallest units possible. The information goes directly to the user, not to a data collection center.
Because you’re not paying for data you don’t want or need or a collection center to store and sort it for you, you get better, more useful information for less. A lot less. About half of the monthly fees other systems charge.
Only the PaxFleet unit itself. It’s a small box easily installed under the instrument panel and out of view.
Not hard at all. The PaxFleet unit is the easiest installation in the industry and requires no special tools or wire splicing. It literally only takes seconds. It’s an easy job for yourself or your mechanic.
Easy-to-install software is included at no additional cost.
The System currently supports most cars and light trucks. A System especially designed and manufactured for heavier trucks and equipment will be announced soon.
No. But if there’s ever a problem, just call us on our dedicated hotline or e-mail us.
If any unit proves to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of the date of installation, we’ll replace or repair it.
The PaxFleet system utilizes the GSM/GPRS Wireless network, which is the same system used by T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T. Currently, our network is offered in 100 metropolitan areas, covering 200 million people across the U.S. — that’s more than any other wireless company. Every day they are building new towers in cities from coast to coast, so more and more people will be able to use the power of our network.
The PaxFleet unit continues to collect information even if the vehicle is outside the wireless coverage area. As soon as the vehicle returns to the coverage area, the data is transmitted to you.
You decide what information you want and how often you want it.
Yes. This is one of the major advantages of the PaxFleet System. You control who you want to have information and what information they receive. That means any person or company, inside or outside of your organization can get precisely the data they need delivered directly to their server. This minimizes the work your IT department needs to do to facilitate proper data distribution and enhances the value of the date in day to day operations.
